Aaaaack! Maybe I should be saying, "Au Secours!!!!!!!", which if I remember correctly from my childhood days watching Canadian Sesame Street means "Help!!!!!!".

Please pray for us as we are trying to study and brush up on our high school French to get ready for our trip. We really want to be able to communicate on our own at least a little while we are over there. Please pray that our minds would retain what we are learning and that our tongues would be able to get the different pronunciations. French is such a beautiful language but it is a challenge for us as we are trying to learn it better. I guess I should write a disclaimer too that this is Kirsten typing. Maybe Jeff is feeling more confident in his French speaking skills....I hope so! I was just studying it now and feeling a bit frustrated so I thought I would take a quick break to ask you all to pray for this aspect of our preparations.

Also, all of our paperwork for our visas is now out of our hands and at the World Missions office for them to prepare to send them all in for the team. Please continue to pray that the process goes smoothly. It feels good to have our part of this step completed.

By the way, the title tells you that I do not speak French well (I think)! That is what I meant it to say anyway. :o)
